Attractions
The Blue Pool
The famous Blue Pool is a large salt water pool complex located at the cliffs below Scenic Drive Bermagui. This is a natural attraction of Bermagui which is free to use all year round and is great for swimming and snorkeling in the surrounding rock pools.
Cuttagee Lake
Siutated at the South end of Cuttagee Beach is Cuttagee Lake. It has a safe wading area for young children and is great for prawning as well.
Heritage Villages
North of Bermagui is the heritage village Central Tilba and west of Bermagui is the working village of Cobargo with old stores and tea rooms.
Montreal Gold Fields
The historic Montreal Gold Fields are north of Bermagui on your left just before the Camel Rock turnoff. There are daily tours available to find out more about gold mining history of Bermagui.
Scenic Drives and Guided Walks
North of Bermagui town centre there are scenic forest drives to Wallaga Lake and South to Mimosa National Park. Look for the sign posts. The Mimosa National Park has guided walks through a variety of coastal environments. There is scenic walking coastal track from Paynes Island (Wallaga Lake bridge) to the Blue Pool.
Fishing
Bermagui is famous for it's abundance of fish. The Bermgaui Harbour has fishing shops, boat launching ramps, fish cleaning tables and a weigh-in gantry for game fish. Game fishing is a specialty of Bermgaui. For information on current charters visit Bermagui Visitor Centre.
Bermgaui Town Centre
The Bermagui town centre has cafes, restaurants and a variety of shops. There is a great park for family barbeques and picnics. On the last Sunday of each month at Dickson Park there is the Bermagui Market featuring handmade products and homemade produce. For more information visit the Bermagui Visitor Centre on Young Street which is open every day 10am - 4pm.
Surfer's Paradise
There are many glorious beach's for the surfers at Bermagui. There is the surf beach Beares Beach off Scenic Drive, Mooreheads Beach, Haywards Beach, Camel Rock Beach is an excellent surf beach and Cuttagee Beach.
